Aughton Village Hall, situated in the heart of the village and parish of Aughton, near to the railway station, Town Green shops and Arthur’s restaurant on Town Green Lane.
The charming village of Aughton; being an extensive agricultural and residential parish, adjoins the south and southwest side of Ormskirk. It is crossed by both the road and railway from Liverpool to Ormskirk and includes the original main-road through the village.
Aughton is one of the most attractive residential districts in the area with pleasant tree-lined roads. It is well served by shops, schools and churches and the parish has won county awards for its well-kept village, village hall and parks and playing fields.
Aughton Village Hall has two superb function rooms – the Oakleaf Suite and Acorn Suite.
The village hall can host events such as plays, birthday parties, christenings, evening dances and wedding functions.
The Oakleaf suite has a stage and licensed bar and is an excellent place to host your special event.
The Acorn suite is slightly smaller, perfect for a smaller gathering.
Private Hire
The two spacious function rooms, along with a small meeting room available for hire, for groups or private functions (subject to availability).
Available for private parties, weddings and christenings at weekends, with a stage and licensed bar in our Oakleaf Suite it’s an excellent place to host your special event.
We have a kitchen, tables, chairs and ample parking. You’re free to decorate the room to suit your own event, and provide whatever catering you require for your event.
In addition to the two main suites, Aughton Village Hall has the ‘Committee Room’. This is a small meeting room located in between the Acorn Suite and Oakleaf Suite. It can be accessed via the main entrance and can be hired at a small charge for small meetings, or used along with our other rooms.
Meeting and Classes
Aughton Village Hall serves the community of Aughton providing a meeting space for community groups and classes.
We host regular fitness groups, meetings for the ‘Slimming World’ group and many more.
